A scarecrow Rebeka Black

Rebeka Black was always a bit odd in her small town. She was shy and often kept to herself, and rarely talked to anyone unless they talked to her first. But, everyone knew her by name, as she was the only Black family living in the area. They all knew she was different, but no one could put their finger on it. She was like a scarecrow, standing in the middle of a field, unmoving and unnoticed, yet still present and visible in the landscape of the small town. She was tall and thin, and her skin was a deep brown color, almost like a deep, dark chocolate. Her eyes were the color of an old, worn leather, and they seemed to be looking into some distant, unseen place. She wore her hair in two thick braids, and she often wore a plain white dress, that had seen better days. No matter what she wore, though, she had an air of mystery and intrigue about her that made her stand out from everyone else.
